This highquality con-rods are made of 4340 steel (40CrNiMoA).
Con-rods with the I-shank are the strongest and most resistant rods at all.
That's why these I-shank rods also get used by US-Dragster and Formula 1 Racecars.
The structural analysis of the I-shank shows, that it can absorb the most axial section modulus without deforming.
They're perfectly suited for high-power engines.
At first this con-rods got many times hardened to achieve an durability of HRC35-38.
Finally they got shot-blasted to strenghen the surface density to the maximum.
Before all of our con-rods are 3D designed and finally CNC-milled, it's possible to simulate a lot of charge states and tensions.
The small-end-bearing is made of bronze, and is suited with an lubrication bore.
The special thing about this "Pro"-Version is, that it is suited with an oil rise bore. This oil rise bore provides the piston pin with fresh oil.
All our connecting rods are equipped with high-strength Pro-Series 14.9 screws ! These have a tensile strength of 1490N/mm^2. Furthermore, the threads are rolled which also increases the flank thickness by 30%.
