SPEED Seat Console Co-Driver Side Toyota GR Yaris

The currently deepest seat attachment for the Toyota GR Yaris,

only in combination with the Recaro Pole Position (also adaptable for the podium seat).

A seat attachment is primarily a safety-relevant component and we designed it as such . Breakouts and the shape of the components are not chosen arbitrarily, but are based on the results of calculations and simulations of the stress curves in the loaded state.

Each of our components has been subjected to FEM simulation to ensure safety first and therefore to optimize weight.

Features

• we achieve the lowest possible sitting position in front of the steering wheel and at the same time in the middle
• less fastening material, less effort, smooth installation, with maximum utilization of the given installation space
• Measurement of the installation space in advance using a 3D laser scanner
• Reduction of the lever arms between the attachment points

Our L-adapters were designed in 4 mm steel after numerous tests and have well thought-out placement of the holes in order to adjust the lowest possible position with a wide variety of seat shell shapes. The double row of holes allowed us to refine the scaling of the height.
With this design we were able to reduce the lever arms between the attachment points. As a result, lower loads occur due to lower torques.
 

Danger:

• This seat attachment only works in combination with a Recaro running track!
• The uniquely low seating position of this seat attachment requires a special design of the side L-adapters. It is intended that the L-adapter is supported on the console. This is unavoidable and has no influence on the function and safety of the component.
